THE WINERY
Unique territory
The Ansaldi farm was founded with the aim of rediscovering and enhancing the identity of a unique territory through a completely sustainable and organic production system, from the vineyard to the bottle. Our wines come exclusively from native varieties such as: Zibibbo, Grillo, Perricone and Nero d’Avola.
We produce, in full respect of the environment, a range of wines and other organic products such as extra virgin olive oil, bread and pasta made from ancient grain flour, orange and mandarin marmalade, with the aim of enhancing our territory and its unique characteristics, through the love and passion for our traditions.

The development of scientific disciplines, especially from the eighteenth century and up to today's decisive contribution of genetics, has allowed us to orient ourselves with precision and to compose a legible mosaic of the identity heritage and varietal richness of the Sicilian vineyard.

The Perpetuo
“Being early September, the harvest was in progress. The tanks in the cellar had been filled with boiling musts, turbulent and bubbling grape juice at the most active point of fermentation. there was a lot for Giacomo to do. He closed the door behind him with a decisive thud. Silence. We were alone in his perpetual wine nursery. “
Perpetual wine is an eternal wine, handed down from generation to generation that is born inside the barrels of small farming families near the west coast of Sicily. A wine with a unique flavor that tastes old and new at the same time.

Production philosophy
The company production philosophy is the perfect combination of past techniques and modern technologies; each variety is vinified respecting its characteristics and peculiarities, so that they can express themselves at their best. Giacomo Ansaldi is the wine maker of the farm, and he guides every single step inside the historic Baglio cellar with patience and devotion. Here organic wines are born that best tell the uniqueness and peculiarities of the territory and the intrinsic characteristics of the vines.
The company is dedicated to taking care of every detail: from cultivation to harvesting, from production to bottling, from packaging to hospitality. A completely internal and controlled production chain, from the bunch to the bottle.
